Frequently asked questions

How Kadar turns a few clicks into a prompt for your image model, and what credits, Pro and History cover.

How it works

  1. Describe the scene

Type what is in the image: who or what, doing what, and where.

  2. Click the rest

Pick style, camera, lens, light, mood and composition from illustrated cards.

  3. Copy your prompt

Choose Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Nano Banana Pro or Natural language, copy the prompt into your image tool and, once signed in, refine it with AI.

Questions

Does Kadar generate images?

No. Kadar writes text prompts. It does not generate images; you paste the prompt into the image tool you already use.

Which image models does Kadar write prompts for?

Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Nano Banana Pro and natural-language models such as GPT Image and Flux, each in its own format: short phrases with parameters at the end for Midjourney, weighted tags with a separate negative prompt for Stable Diffusion, a structured brief with labeled lines for Nano Banana Pro, and plain English sentences for the rest.

Is Kadar free?

Building and copying prompts is free and needs no account. Signing in with Google gives you 10 AI prompt rewrites a month and a prompt history of your 20 most recently created or updated entries. Pro gives you 500 rewrites a month, lets you open templates in the builder and keeps a history of 500 entries.

What does Refine with AI do?

An OpenAI model rewrites and translates the text of your prompt for the model you target. You can ask for changes in follow-ups, and each version is saved to your History. It needs you to be signed in.

How do credits work?

Credits pay for Refine with AI. Each refine, follow-up or Refine again uses one credit, and a request that fails gives its credit back. Free accounts get 10 credits a month and Pro accounts 500.

What are templates?

100 ready-made scenes in 10 categories, from UGC and product shots to cinematic frames, with example images. Anyone can browse them on the Templates page; opening one in the builder is part of Pro.

Are my prompts private?

While you are signed in, Kadar keeps a history of the prompts you refine and copy, and you can delete one entry or clear them all on the History page. Your prompt text goes to OpenAI only when you use Refine with AI. Kadar does not sell your data or use your prompts to train AI models.
